Donate an Old Truck

The short version: Old pickup trucks have strong donation value. Older Fords, Chevys, GMCs, Toyotas, Nissans, and Dodges sell well at auction for work-truck buyers, restorers, and parts harvesters. We accept old trucks in any condition.

Why old trucks donate well

Pickup trucks retain value longer than passenger cars. A 25-year-old Ford F-150 with a clean body but high miles can still sell for $1,500-3,000 at auction to a work-truck buyer or restorer. A 30-year-old Chevy K1500 might fetch $2,000-4,000 depending on condition.

Older diesels (7.3 Powerstroke, 5.9 Cummins, Duramax) have particular value — these engines have cult followings and old trucks with healthy diesel engines can sell for $5,000+.

Conditions we accept

Running, not running, blown engine, blown transmission, body damage, faded paint, missing interior, bed liner peeling, no tailgate, rusted-out bed, salvage title — all welcome. We tow with flatbeds so the truck doesn't need to be drivable.

Old commercial trucks (box trucks, dump trucks under 26K lbs, work trucks) are also accepted. Call us for specifics.
