How Texas car donation works (3 steps)

  1. Submit the form or call us

Tell us about the vehicle: year, make, model, condition, and your Texas ZIP. Our intake team confirms by phone within one business day.

  2. We send a flatbed at no cost

Pickup typically 24–48 hours in Texas metros, 3–5 business days in rural areas. The driver brings paperwork and a paper receipt.

  3. You receive IRS Form 1098-C

Within 30 days of the vehicle's sale, we mail or email your official tax receipt. Most vehicles sell within 60 days of pickup.

Texas title transfer process

Texas titles all vehicles. Sign the title's 'Assignment of Title' section, complete Form 130-U (Application for Texas Title) — we provide this — and the odometer disclosure. Texas also requires a Notice of Sale (Form VTR-346) be filed within 30 days; we handle this. Lost titles: apply via TxDMV for $5.45.
