Classic Car
Pre-1990 vehicles, project cars, barn finds, restoration candidates. Often surprisingly valuable at auction — even rough condition pre-1980 American iron can sell for $3,000-15,000 depending on year, make, and what's still attached.

Why donors choose us for Classic Car donations
Common donation reasons: estate vehicles from deceased restorers; barn finds the owner can't restore; rusty project cars too far gone to fix; rare-but-needs-work classics where the donation is easier than the restoration.
Cars Helping Kids accepts Classic Car vehicles regardless of model, year, mileage, or mechanical condition. Free flatbed pickup means the vehicle doesn't need to start or be drivable. We handle title transfer paperwork.
Classic Car donation process
1. Submit our 60-second form or call 770-871-9422 with the vehicle year/make/model + your contact info.
2. A real person from Cars Helping Kids calls you within 1 business day to confirm address and schedule pickup.
3. Tow driver arrives at the agreed time. You sign the back of the title; they take the vehicle. Free.
4. After the vehicle sells at auction, we email you IRS Form 1098-C showing the actual sale price (= your tax deduction).
Tax deduction for your Classic Car
Your federal tax deduction equals the gross sale price of the vehicle when we sell it at auction. Cars Helping Kids is a Georgia 501(c)(3) (program of Fainting Goat Foundation); donations qualify for the charitable contribution deduction if you itemize on your federal return.
Use the tax calculator on the homepage to estimate your deduction based on the vehicle's age and condition.
