Non-Runner / Inoperable Vehicle
A vehicle that does not start or drive on its own power.
What it means
Cars Helping Kids accepts non-running vehicles. The towing partner brings a flatbed or wheel-lift; no driving required. Non-runners typically sell at salvage auction or to recyclers. Sale price (and thus your deduction) is lower than running vehicles but the donation is still tax-deductible.
